Eunice Christian School is an independent private school focusing on home-based education.
Within Eunice, the parents are responsible for the child's education - the school provides the structure and framework for recordkeeping and serves as an accountability partner for the homeschooling family. The major emphasis of the school is developing the student portfolio - a record of the child's educational progress. We provide guidance and instruction for developing this portfolio as well as quarterly reviews by certified instructors.
Eunice Christian School provides:
- Class instruction on record-keeping and portfolio review requirements
- A Faculty Manual with written instructions and resources
- Quarterly student portfolio reviews by our Florida state-certified teachers
- Aid in documenting high school credits
- Transcript preparation
- Assistance with Bright Futures, Florida Virtual School and dual enrollment at FCCJ
- Quarterly Parent informational meetings
- Graduation and Recognition Night in May
- Opportunities for field trips and other activities
Parents are responsible for:
- Choosing curriculum and providing student instruction
- Attending quarterly meetings and preparing the student portfolio
